Library Journal Review

Newly single and trying to love it, struggling small business owner Annie Higgins accepts a challenge from her scornful ad-agency neighbors. If she can make random stranger Dr. Samuel Page, PhD, Instagram-famous in 30 days, she'll win a free month's rent. Unfortunately, awkward, antisocial hippie historian Sam hates social media. Undaunted, Annie gets to work, in the process learning a great deal about herself and her value, while forcing Sam to see the world in a wider circle than the one in which he places himself. Old lovers, a neurotic cat, meddling family, a social media crash-course for Sam, and a well-meaning session of Britney Spears therapy for Annie come together in a whimsical story. VERDICT Some of the British humor might confuse North American readers, but those who like a love story and quirky characters will enjoy this latest from Kelk ("I Heart." series; "Tess Brookes About a Girl" series). Well written and entertaining, perfect for readers of Gemma Burgess, Meg Cabot, and Sophie Kinsella.-Sonia Haynes, Brockville, Ont. © Copyright 2018. Booklist Review

*Starred Review* Annie Higgins is a career woman with no time for love. As the founder of Content, a tiny tech company that runs social media accounts for companies and influencers, Annie is very proud of all she's accomplished, especially since Content is up for a few industry awards. But not everyone takes her company or her work seriously. So when the agency across the hall challenges Annie to take an anonymous individual from unknown to Instagram-famous in 30 days, she is only too happy to accept. Annie's unknowing subject is Dr. Samuel Page, a historian who abhors social media. To get Samuel's participation, Annie agrees to help him win back his ex-girlfriend. But as she gets to know Samuel, Annie begins to realize there are times when you need to put the phone down and just enjoy the moment and that she wants to enjoy those moments with Samuel. Kelk (We Were on a Break, 2017) delivers yet another sharp-witted, hilarious, totally relatable read with One in a Million, an opposites-attract romance that is a must-have for any fiction collection.--LynnDee Wathen Copyright 2018 Booklist
