Booklist Review

In this fourth book of the Magic Ex Libris series, Isaac Vainio is called to use his skills as a libriomancer to fight a war. The U.S. government, nervous of the magical powers of nonhumans, has begun to inter or imprison captives with powers. A new group known as Vanguard, made up of ex-Porters and other magical entities, has emerged onto the scene wanting to wage war. With the help of allies, including psychiatrist Nidhi Shah and his girlfriend, Lena Greenwood, Isaac searches for the means to ending the war. A good entry for series fans.--Smith, Becca Copyright 2016 Booklist
